John Greene.
When I was a kid, my favorite TV show was “Name That Tune.” When I was a bit older, I was making mixtapes by recording songs off the radio onto a cassette. When I was married, my wife commented to everyone at our wedding that I lived my life to a soundtrack. Now, with most every chunk of free time that I have, I scour the web for songs and sounds and mixes that I haven’t yet heard. There’s a pattern. Since I can remember, I’ve lived my life to a soundtrack.
And now, lo these many years later, it has helped shaped my profession as Senior Partner and Chief Strategy Officer of Translation (www.translationllc.com). I spend my work days helping brands (such as State Farm, McDonalds, Target, Microsoft, etc) and artists (such as Lady Gaga and Rihanna) thrive in contemporary culture.
Throughout my life, music has been an endless source of inspiration, entertainment, and energy. Through this blog, I hope to share some of this with all of you.
